What do you get for your money?

In the run up to market day your brand will be showcased across all of our platforms, including North Brew Co’s!

You will be featured on our ‘Mindful Directory’ where our online shoppers can discover your brand and be connected to your online platform and website

You’ll be given lots of information and support to ensure you’re confident and knowledgable to make sales on market day via our exclusive Online Trader Hub including discounts from our industry friends!

On Market day you will have a table/chair and table cloth, a personalised printed sticker of your logo to go on the front of your table cloth, personalised table top marketing that will connect shoppers to your social media channels and educate them on your mindful properties via a QR code AND of course a fantastic day to trade at one of Leeds and Manchester’s BEST destination venues!

We curate our line-up with these principles in mind:

SMALL AND INDIE


The main culprits for damaging our environment, mental health and any progression within inclusivity are big corporate high-street brands.

Therefore we only accept small and independently owned traders - ee love helping small, mindful businesses to be seen and to grow, because they’re the ones that hold the power! Therefore this is the one requirement that is mandatory for all our applicants!

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is a big one, and absolutely at the forefront of many consumers minds. We’re looking for brands that are conscious of the impact their business and products have on our people and planet. This could be that their products are both slow and handmade using sustainable materials, they make it clear how they deal with their waste responsibility, they look into how to lower their carbon footprint as much as possible, they educate their customer on how they take action towards climate change or they create and sell products that promote a sustainable lifestyle and way of living.

INCLUSIVITY

Shopping inclusively is still very much overlooked when it comes to being a more conscious consumer - we need to look after the planet, but we must look after it’s people too. The high-street does not do a good job in representing the minorities groups that are either busy working behind their brands, or those looking to buy from them.

We welcome minority owned business whether that be Ethnic Minorities, Gender Minorities or Disabled Minorities to join our markets to help our minority conscious shoppers feel represented, to feel safe whilst shopping more mindfully and create others the opportunity to support minority owned businesses.

MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING

It’s not often spoken about how consumerism impacts negatively on our mental health and wellbeing - especially with the continued consumer “trends” of wellbeing. So we’re looking for small businesses who are experts within the different sectors of wellbeing to sell and provide genuine wellbeing aids.

This could be in the form of natural remedies, practical aids such as journals or yoga equipment or therapies and workshops.

You do not need to full-fill all four requirements however we do like to see that you’re working towards at least 2 requirements - please make sure you’re as thorough as possible explaining your mindful properties within your application!

Community offers allows Mindful Market to contribute towards positive change within inclusivity, sustainability and wellbeing.


For our summer 2024 markets we will be offering a £10 discount to 5 Ethnic Minority Owned Businesses per market date.

If you would like to be considered for one of these positions please let us know in our application form.

You will be asked to agree to the following T’s and C’s when confirming your place at the market if selected:

1. Your place is not confirmed until you have agreed to these T's and C's and paid your fee.

2. Your fee is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

3. You must have proof of Liability Insurance and any other certificates and insurance that is relevant to you trading with Mindful Market.

4. You are to be punctual to set up at Mindful Market and to stay throughout the duration of the event.

5. You are to use table cloth provided

6. You are to share and tell your community about the market via your marketing streams using given templates with Mindful Market branding.
